How to Fight Unhealthy Sugary Cravings

This week I had a really fun time answering a Facebook fan’s question–how to control unhealthy cravings? This is a question I get all the time, and I’m happy to share what I tell my clients with you! It really comes down to the basics:

  1. Breakfast. What are you eating for breakfast and when are you eating breakfast?
  2. Timing of meals–how long do you go without eating anything?
  3. Exercise and timing–what and when does your post-workout snack/meal look like … and is there one?
  4. The composition of your diet–are your macronutrietns–aka protein, carbs, and fat balanced?
  5. Carbs and dinner? Is your “carb rule” causing you to eat after dinner?
